At a given agency, FMS professionals work side
by side with agency personnel for short durations or extended
periods. FMS staff can work in their own defined teams or as
members within agency teams. In all cases, FMS guarantees that
contract personnel will be highly knowledgeable, motivated, and
productive, and will enhance whatever activity they are assigned
to support.
Current Projects:
U.S. Department of State
Over 25 skill categories are
represented in the FMS team supporting the State Department at
over 60 DOS offices throughout the United States. Many FMS
staffers have received awards from DOS offices recognizing the
invaluable roles they play in day-to-day operations. In addition
to the daily support services provided by FMS assigned staff,
our senior corporate staff and managers are available to perform
value-added services and studies. The corporate publications
unit is also available to assist in producing high quality
materials for DOS offices.
U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, National Institutes of Health
FMS supports the administrative processing/data
capture of grant proposals/applications and provides technical
and administrative support for peer reviews and related computer
applications during the review cycle at various
Institutes/Centers (ICs) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
FMS' Grants Technical Assistants provide support to the
Scientific Review Administrators throughout the review cycle by
assisting with the administrative review of applications and
handling the organization and logistics for review meetings.
Furthermore, our Grants Management Assistants provide essential
administrative support in the management of ICs' grants and
trainee appointments.
HIDTA/MATF
HIDTA/MATF is a task force comprising several Federal and State
agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA);
the U.S. Secret Service; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms (ATF); the U.S. Marshall’s Service; and the Police
Departments of the jurisdictions of Virginia, Maryland, and
Washington, D.C. FMS provides criminal and investigative,
computer security, conference management, and logistics support
services to this critical task force.
Immigration and
Naturalization Service (Department of Homeland Security)
FMS evaluated filing and mailing operations at INS’
Regional Offices including Dallas, Burlington, and Washington,
D.C. Based on this evaluation, FMS staff has developed a new and
improved record management and filing procedure, covering all of
INS’ financial records. FMS also designed and created a
computerized filing system for contracts, correspondence, and
financial records with automated update capabilities in MS
Access. In addition, FMS provides document processors,
accountants, and file managers to create, maintain, and manage a
centralized file room tailored to meet the needs of the agency’s
sensitive and proprietary data.
Centers for Disease
Control, National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
FMS provides a full range of traditional library and
information services in staffing and operating the NIOSH Library
in Morgantown, West Virginia. These services include
circulation, collection development and maintenance, basic
literature search (DIALOG/CRTS, OCLC, ORBIT, BRS, STN), document
delivery, reference, serials, and other user services. FMS also
manages the Inter-Library Loan Program for NIOSH.
